Terry Towner Spotlight: Alexander Locklear

This newsletter, we're excited to shine the spotlight on Alex, Terry Town's talented Data Analyst! Alex has been a part of the team for over three years, and has made a real impact at Terry Town through his dedicated work and problem-solving mindset.

Originally from Michigan, Alex moved to Palm Springs at the age of four. Growing up, he spent a lot of time helping out at his family's diner, which served up classic breakfast and lunch favorites. He has one older sister, one younger brother, and lots of fond memories with both.

Alex first interviewed for his role at Terry Town virtually with Brian. Since then, he's enjoyed the variety his position brings - working on a wide range of projects that keeps things fresh and exciting. He describes programming as "solving puzzles," which suits his analytical mindset perfectly.

Alex originally studied Economics, but was naturally drawn to programming. One of Alex's most meaningful experiences at Terry Town has been stepping up to support others - especially during challenging times. During our cyberattack, he jumped into action and played a key role in navigating that stressful situation. Alex finds real purpose in being able to make a difference when it matters most and takes pride in being someone his teammates can always count on.

Alex is proud of how far he's come, both personally and professionally. He's worked hard to build a life he loves, and he's now enjoying life in North Park, close to great food and great city energy. His gratitude for life makes a big part of who he is.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys watching movies, playing guitar, and even writing and recording his own music. He's also an avid PlayStation gamer who loves relaxing with a good game.

When the weather's warm, you'll find Alex riding his bike around the bay or participating in a bike marathon. Lately, he's also been diving into snorkeling at San Diego's beautiful beaches. Not a lot of people know how much Alex loves animals and enjoys seeing them in their natural habitat in the water.

Your genuine gratitude for life and the progress you've made is truly inspiring and reminds us to appreciate the journey and the moments that matter most.
