Terry Towner Spotlight: Daniela Gaytan

This month, we're excited to shine a spotlight on Daniela Gaytan, our dedicated graphic designer specializing in virtual designs. Daniela joined Terry Town in 2022 and has been a valued member of our team for the past two years.

Reflecting on her journey, Daniela recalls how nervous she felt upon starting her role. However, she quickly discovered the warm and welcoming nature of Terry Town. One of her first experiences at Terry Town was a tour led by Samuel where they went to the samples room for an in-depth tour of all our line. While initially overwhelmed, Daniela soon became familiar with our offerings but even now is amazed by our wide variety of products.

What Daniela loves most about her role as a graphic designer is the ability to transform client specifications into vibrant artwork. She appreciates the freedom to express her creativity while collaborating closely with clients to bring their visions to life.

Daniela also enjoys art outside of work. After taking some art classes during her time at university, she earned a deep appreciation for painting with acrylics, finding it a relaxing and soothing way to unwind after a busy day.

One of Daniela's favorite memories at Terry Town is collaborating with Sy on blanket designs. She appreciated getting to know his sense of humor, which made the creative process even more enjoyable. She thrives on collaboration across departments and loves the dynamic nature of her work. Her favorite projects involve problem solving with team members from all over Terry Town, allowing her to engage with different perspectives and ideas. Daniela is grateful for the supportive environment at Terry Town, where she feels surrounded by kind people. She feels incredibly grateful to be part of the Art team, appreciating their uplifting dynamic.

Daniela describes herself as friendly, creative, funny, and family-oriented, taking great pride in her roots. Her family hails from Sonora, Mexico, and she treasures the time spent visiting them throughout the year. With an extended family of twenty, gatherings are always filled with love and laughter.

Daniela loves everything Disney related and says she feels her happiest when visiting Disneyland. On her weekends, she enjoys trying out new coffee places and recommends trying out Superbloom (San Diego) and Amaras (Tijuana). Daniela always lives by the quote to "do things because you enjoy it, not because you have to" and to always have compassion for everyone around you.
